Update 8th May 2001
FREE COMEDY RETURNS TO FRINGE 2001
At the Edinburgh Fringe 2001, Peter Buckley Hill will be responsible for TWO FREE shows, both in a format that will be familiar to old friends..
PETER BUCKLEY HILL AND SOME COMEDIANS VI; yes, the sixth year this show has run at the Fringe. Four different comedians each evening, the best that can be got for no money whatsoever and, on a good night, a better show than you could pay for. Click here for the roll of honour from previous years. This year, PBHASC will go back to the more familiar running times of 2125 to 2300, and it will be at the Three-Quarter Sports Cafe as it has been for the past two years. Food and drink will be available at the Three-Quarter
And of course there will be Peter's
one-man show, this year once again called ONE MAN AND HIS FROG. Spend slightly under an
hour in the company of Peter's songs and general waffle. This will
for the first time also be at the Three-Quarter Sports Cafe, between 1735 and 1825
from the first Wednesday of the Fringe onward, but not at weekends (so the sports cafe
can show sport).
Here's to Fringe 2001 and an enjoyable
time for all. Welcome back to old frineds and welcome to new ones. Peter will try to
engage the best possible comedians for PBHASC. If you want to spend more time in the company of the
strange songs, why not spend an afternoon at OMAHF? Buy a CD if you like it.
